We need an honest, compasionate man like this to restore people's faith in their country.

When Obama said "I am my brother's keeper", did he mean the guy in Kenya living on $12 a year?

Michael Streeter said:

I hope, if this inexperienced buffoon wins the presidency, that he will treat us better than he does is ACTUAL "brother" living on $12 / year.
DOUBT IT. He will tax us to death and still let his brother eat bugs.

I read an interview with Obama's brother and he does not want any help and says he is happy and living well. He is half Obama's age and has never met his half brother by the father who abandoned his older brother.

As for inexperienced buffoons, that is the one LEAVING office who has left this country in such a miserable mess. I realize the idea of having a black man (well he's only 1/2 black) is very scary for a lot of white people. But they will have to finally live up to their supposed Christian values and embrace all of mankind.

Why is it that anyone who opposes Sen. Obama must be doing so out of racial fear? Can it not be because they disagree with his policies? Or that he makes things up(also known as lying)? Or that he associates with people of questionable character and intentions for this country? Why must it be because he is black? Most of America is not concerned with that. Why do his backers keep bringing it up?

Greta said:

"associates with people of questionable character"? I suppose that you are referring to William Ayers, with whom he served on a board organized by the Annenburg Foundation, a conservative foundation. Presumably everyone on the Annenburg Foundation has the same "questionability" as Obama? Or perhaps you speak of Rev. Jeremiah Wright. To me, he is much better than the Pat Robertsons with whom McCain has been consorting, who invest in exploitation of diamond miners in Africa. And I won't get into the questionable characters Sarah Palin associates with, including her husband, a long-term member of the Alaska secessionist party!

Joe the Plumber (who doesn't pay taxes) said:

LMAO @ let his brother eat bugs, loved that, was so funny.

Meh, John McCain lies just as much as Barack Obama does. HHHEEELLLOOOO they are both politians, why are ANY of us surprised???!?!

At the end of the day, what we really need to consider is who holds our most treasured values and vote for that person.

After much deliberation i will be voting for neither candidate because neither of them hold my most treasured value which is honesty. lol.
