Wait a minute. Is this the same Hillary that said, "I support a woman's right to have control over her own body."? A strong Christian faith that compels good works and ignores the sanctity of life? Come on!

John said:

She's faithful, as long as it is convenient for her.

As we stumble along into another election year, it comes to mind that we should pray these words on occasion, "Father forgive them, for they surely know what they are saying, don't they. . . as they are continually changing their message to fit their audience. . . or the days. . . or the polls. . . or ? ? ? ?"

The founding fathers recognized, as does our Supreme Court, certain inalienable rights of individua, such as matters of faith and control of thought. Control by a woman over her own body, as opposed to a governmental agency, is her prerogative and those evangelicals (and others)who support legally enforced anti-abortion measures are being deliberately selective in their faith, as well as inconsistent in their politics. As a longtime evangelical pastor, I support Saddleback in having Hillary and I support her stand.

Joe D. said:

Yes, this Christian woman said she supports a woman to have control over her own body, better than the goverment having control, don't you think? I think the Bible should tell us just how we are to use our bodies, not the goverment.

Rev. David Casto said:

Wait a minute more... she is your sister in Christ and you boys need to treat her as such. Just because someone has come to different conclusions regarding their reading of scripture than your own does not warrant such character assasination. Perhaps you are claiming your own interpretations are without error. That is risky territory to camp in... let us agree that Jesus Christ is Lord and stop this divisive vitriol in the body of Christ!

I have difficulty thinking Sen. Clinton cares anything about faith. Seems to me, for her, she will talk about it when it is convenient and will win her points.
