Barack Obama: "Outraged and Saddened"

In his response to Rev. Jeremiah Wright's recent remarks, Sen. Barack Obama denounced Wright's comments as "destructive" and said they do not accurately portray the black church or the candidate's own values and beliefs.

It is problematic that one has to denounce a human being. We are not able to control one's behavior. Has Hillary ever denounced Bill? His behavior was far more aggregious, dispicable. Rev. Wright got applause from the audience. This country is not ready to accept differnces. Barrack fit into the mode that his cues comes from other journalist that the overwhelming majority are white

Very gutsy statement and deserves and will get our support and votes, should he be the Deocratic candidate.
I still believe that a Clinton/Obama ticket would have been unbeatable and would have provided 16 years of Democratic leadership in the White House. This internecine bickering may have given McCain a new life....I hope not.
