Steve Monsma's ignorance of the rich history of the Black Church's calls for justice is peeking out from under the righteous robes of "Evangelicalism." So is his Republican politics. Too bad it also represents a sizeable proportion of professing "evangelical leaders" undeclared racist attitude. Just my 2 cents worth as a 67 year old white guy in ministry for 30+ years often working in minority situations.
