Barack Obama: Expanding the Faith-based Initiative

In a July 1 speech at the East Side Community Ministry in Zanesville, Ohio, Barack Obama announced his plans for a new Council for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships that would offer wider government support to religiously-run social service programs.

Horrible idea! I thought Obama had more sense. What a disappoitment. What part of Separation of Church and State does he not understand.

Obama is pretty generous with our tax dollars. This violates the Separation of Chruch and State.

I don't approve or want my tax dollars lost in this dark hole. He doesn't seem to care about democracy but his own power. It is "religious cronyism" much like Bush. What change?
