Well, now that Steven Strang has left a vacancy for a religious endorsement, on the stage at Barack's coronation ceremony, maybe Barack should come out of the closet and recruit the religious leaders who have always supported him ... and, who Barack has always supported. Pastor Jeremiah Wright ... Father Phleiger ... and the rest of the radicals. But, we know Barack won't do that, because even though that represents who Barack truly is ... it wouldn't help Barack deceive us ... and get him elected. In November. Vote for a man who truly loves America, with over 40 years of service and sacrafice ... not Obama, an inexperienced, incompetent, empty suit, who is being agressively packaged and sold to the American people.
Rick,
You did not provide a fair forum--and that was your responsibity. Your intentions may have been good--but you did not guarantee that the rules were4 followed. Shame on you.
Rick Warren did not discuss the "least of these" that Obama is concerned about and mentioned during the forum. Does Rick Warren not know the fact that the U.S. is near to last or last of the industrialized countries for infant mortality, children heath care and they are dying, and life expectancy - we don't care for our seniors.
Rick Warren should come to St. Louis and SEE that there are people who live no better than in Africa - the difference is the thatched house versus the crumbling homes. Both receive inadequate aid, hope and training for a better tomorrow.
Who are the 'least of these' - many people without jobs or hope of tomorrow and they are so downtrodden they cannot get up - the poorest of the poor.
Women don't get adequate prenatal care, the children don't get pediatric care - good nutrition is need for brain development in children - this equals poor performance in school and no hope of tomorrow - again the downtrodden.
I am caucasian, but my Lord has shown me the "least of these" - in the eyes of the world - as a preschool director/teacher in a church by the inner city projects of St. Louis and in St. Louis public schools doing a kindergarten program schools where I made home visits and taught children with developmental lag.
HEAR with your heart our Lord's love and crying for the "least of these" then the supposed radicals are really the prophets of the Lord. Shame on the richest country in the world for not hearing the cries of the "least of these."
I am glad to hear a call for civility but I think it will only come when we have 50% of all the leadership in the United States are women. This includes governmental and religious leadership.
