But the two branches of Islam have not always been openly hostile, and in many parts of the world they live together peacefully. One of the most influential evangelical leaders today is Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church, a megachurch in southern California. Warren is perhaps best known for his mega-selling book, THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE.
