Evangelical Pastors Lobby for Immigration Reform

pastors-reform-HEAD-smMore than 250 evangelical pastors gathered in Washington to pray for a breakthrough in the legislative stalemate over immigration reform. They also lobbied Congress to pass a bill this year. The leaders stressed that immigration is a moral issue. Among them was prominent conservative Southern Baptist leader Paige Patterson:

Rev. Paige Patterson, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary: “We’re grateful for the opportunity to be here and to support immigration reform and see to it that America continues to be a country that fears God and that reaches out in kindness and love.”
