Fighting in Syria Continues During Ramadan

Ramadan is the time of reflection, of peace, of getting closer to G-d and people. In some ways it reminds me of the Jewish High Holidays. Why do so many radicals use it as a time to bring more conflict into they world. A true Muslim would not use Ramadan this way.

There is, however, precedent. I believe Muhammad himself fought the battle of Badr during Ramadan.
