Catholic Nun Sentenced to Three Years in Prison for Anti-Nuclear Peace Protest

Megan-Rice320Three Catholic anti-war activists were sentenced to prison terms for breaking into a Tennessee nuclear weapons facility and defacing it. Among them was Sister Megan Rice, an 84-year-old nun. At her sentencing she asked the judge for no leniency, saying “to remain in prison for the rest of my life would be the greatest honor you could give me.” Rice was sentenced to between 18 and 35 months in federal prison.

She should be set free. She’s an elderly woman who has spent all of her life serving God. She brought awareness and also demonstrated how easy it is for anyone to break into a NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, What is it was a real terrorist, at least now there will be more security, I hope.

It wasn’t just a nuclear power plant, it was a nuclear weapons facility! Personally, I can’t see how a sweet little old lady like her could partake in such a violent act. I guess she must be stronger than she looks. She’ll probably become the boss of whatever prison she gets sent to.
