Religious Groups Respond to Fiscal Cliff Deal

The Family Research Council criticized the deal for not including spending cuts and entitlement reforms that the group said are necessary to ultimately address the debt crisis. Meanwhile, leaders of the Christian lobby group Bread for the World said while the measure isn’t perfect, they believe it will “prevent major economic damage that would have affected hungry and poor people the most.”
