The Southern Baptists try to broaden their appeal, the Catholic Bishops maintain their sex abuse policy, and the White House defends the US military mission in Libya.

"There's something happening inside of the hearts and minds of people that has brought us all together," says Rev. John Dee Jeffries of the First Baptist Church in Chalmette, Louisiana.

Science and religion are sometimes at odds over the environment, but one prominent biologist is pleading for both to work together in order to protect the earth's biodiversity -- the many species of plants and animals that scientists say are at risk. E.O. Wilson is the author of a recent book, THE CREATION. He spoke with Bob Abernethy.
