This does not make steroids bad in all cases, in fact intelligent use under medical supervision is as safe as drinking coffee. Also, a lot of this was exaggerated as anti-communist propaganda. The US has done worse things in the past 5 years... State sanctioned torture, rendition and the bombing of civilians are just a few examples. You guys need to start looking at the whole picture and not just what someone put right next to your face. Growing up in India in the 1980's, a lot of us always wondered as to how come the East German women athletes were so "masculine". I feel extremely sad for the young athletes that were subjected to this massive doping program. For all those people on radio sports shows in the US, who think that baseball being tainted by drugs is no "big deal", I hope they get to see this documentary. Doping is not only heinous and morally wrong, it is a crime that one is committing on one's body. This was a very disturbing documentary and my heart and prayers go out to those young athletes who had to go through this. Peace to one and all.
