Hever Castle was Anne Boleyn's childhood home and where she retreated after she was banished from court in 1523 because of her romance with Lord Henry Percy.

Anne spent 18 months at the residence of Archduchess Margaret of Austria, Regent of the Netherlands, in Mechelen, Belgium, outside of Brussels.

When Anne moved in to Hampton Court Palace she had mirrors put in the roof of her apartments.
5. Royal Palace of Hatfield

Now part of Hatfield House, home to the Marquess of Salisbury, the Royal Palace of Hatfield was home to Anne's daughter, Elizabeth, who lived there with her own household. It was here that Elizabeth would be declared Queen of England in 1558. Today, the palace acts as a banquet hall.

The site of Anne's execution in 1536, the Tower of London also houses her grave, located within the Chapel of St. Peter ad Vincula. Anne's room within the Tower can still be visited today.
