Visit the Virtual Museum to find images of artifacts and artwork, donated through a collaboration with member museums in the Association of African-American Museums, that were created during the time of slavery in America. Students can create their own virtual museums exhibits for personal and/or classroom use by using our downloadable PowerPoint template. Students and teachers can use the lesson plan "What We Leave Behind" for tips on how to use the images already in the "Virtual Museum," find material from local museums and communities, and add their own content creations.
