I watched this program yesterday. You shared a quote from his book where he stated that life has shown him this: In life you need something to do, something to love and something to look forward to. This is “stolen” from Jospeh Addison (1672-1712) His direct quote is this: Three grand essentials in life are something to do, something to love and something to look forward to.

Recently I watched Dick VanDyke on his show, trying to stay awake long enough to do 92 hours ( non-stop )as a radio host. It was the most hilarious and funniest skit I have ever seen. He was and is the greatest.
