Music icon performs ‘Don’t Forget About Me,’ from his new CD.

The social activism reflected in John Mellencamp's songs was one of the key catalysts that launched Farm Aid, the concert series and organization that has addressed the struggle of American family farmers. Supported by artists who contribute their performances, the organization has raised more than $37 million for its mission to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. This year's 25th anniversary benefit concert—"Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America"—is scheduled for October 2 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI.
