How to Spot a Psycho

Jon Ronson is a British journalist who, apart from having one of the most memorable voices in radio, writes stories about strange people and the strange things they do. You may have heard of his book, The Men Who Stare at Goats, about clandestine government experiments in paranormal abilities, which was adapted into a feature film starring George Clooney.

Ronson’s latest project is The Psychopath Test, a nonfiction exploration into the world of psychopaths. The big reveal: Psychopaths are among us, frequently in positions of power. The other reveal: Lots of people who are medically deemed psychopaths really aren’t. You can find more on both of those things on a recent episode of This American Life, where Ronson is a regular contributor.
