Overview
In this lesson, students will read and discuss proverbs about conflict, keep a conflict journal and role-play ways to resolve a variety of situations, as well as use the "Principles of Peacemakers" to negotiate settlements in world conflicts.
Learning Objectives
In this lesson, students will do the following:
analyze conflict proverbs and relate them to current or historic events.
reflect on the causes of conflicts and role-play ways to resolve the situations.
evaluate world situations and recommend solutions to the problems.
