Overview
In this lesson students will read firsthand accounts of refugees, take a Child Labor Quiz from UNICEF's "Voices of Youth" Web site, learn about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, write a radio news report on the signing of the declaration and research human rights issues.
Learning Objectives
In this lesson, students will do the following:
analyze the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
synthesize information from a variety of sources
express an understanding of world human rights issues
create a report to describe a human rights problem
