    YES! It does not make the student a well rounded person! It just gets them ready for a test.

    The pressure from top down on teachers is to get the kids to pass these tests, at the expense of engagement in real learning. Children and teachers are stressed; great deal of educational time is spent on test preparation, and schools that do not perform on these tests are penalized.
