I am touched immensely, with the intimate portrayal of this brave young woman who has my respect along with the people of Afghanstan. I pray that she lives a long life and that she find time to rest as she helps her country to move into democracy. This movie is a beautiful piece of art that brings much hope for the change that is so desparately needed. For some reason, I immediately thought of Joan of Arch, her spirit as she takes on the warlords in her pursuit of liberty. This is not an easy path she has taken. I hope the world watches and helps her meet her goals.

Thank you Eva, for making this beautiful, but also very sad and heartbreaking movie about an astonishingly brave young Afghan woman. Not only was I moved to tears watching the movie, I have gained so much respect for Malalai Joya and the marvellous work she does. It is my hope that she will help move Afghanistan towards democracy, peace and hope in the future.

Realizing the situation of the Afghan citizens was heartbreaking. It is not often Western people get this kind of insight into their everyday life and troubles, so far from what we know and think. I will never forget this movie.

Thank you again.
