Thank you so much for making this beautiful documentary. I was waking up at 5am to go to work when I came across this film. This is a very, very important document. I live in San Francisco and I am disappointed not to see this being played at 8pm

I just watched your film and it really impressed me. The work of Dorjee, Lone, Hardi and many other people that have devoted their life to save the nature.
Thank you for making such an inspirational film and keep the great work.

I loved watching your film - I particularly enjoyed watching the act of Sun pitching his proposal. It was fascinating to see how he went about it and how buoyant his spirit remained. I also enjoyed seeing the delegates duke it out over environmental policies; I actually became less cynical as I watched them work so hard to come to a consensus. Thank you for documenting this incredible and important story, and thank you, Wide Angle, for your awesome programming!

I was horrified to see the unnecessary burning in Ache. As a student and practitioner of PermaCulture (check it out on Google) I would like to get word to Dorjee Sun that there are alternatives the native people can do to burning. Why not chip up the wood and sell it for mulch? That is a big thing in gardening and landscaping in the U.S. and will become more valuable as climate change continues, as it can preserve moisture in the soil and help plants and trees grow. I also hope Mr. Sun will connect with the PermaCulture pioneers who began the movement in Australia, where they learned from the indigenous people of Australia and New Zealand how to preserve and work with nature instead of against it.

a wonderful show! thank you for the excellent information and an outside (of u.s.) perspective. i was wondering if dorjee sun had a website or a contact address - i was hoping that he might be able to offer alaska an alternative to logging the tongass as well as any others in alaska and the united states. what a brilliant man, i hope his idea grows and grows.

The film was fascinating and an eyeopener. We hope that you will produce a follow-up. To us, your film graphically pointed out the need for leaders to have vision, something I'm sorry to say is lacking in the U.S. at present. We can only hope our next leaders will have that vision so we can recapture the respect
of the world, and the creativity that made this country great. Thank you for your efforts.
