Global Policy Forum (GPF) — The Dark Side of Natural Resources
GPF, a non-profit organization with consultative status at the U.N., works to monitor U.N. policy and educate and mobilize populations for global citizen participation. Their Web site contains, in part, extensive information about the ways in which the prevalence of natural resources such as diamonds, oil, natural gas and water have presaged war and civil strife in the DRC and elsewhere.
