Having just viewed this phenomenally prophetic interview with (then) Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, I am more convinced than ever of her making a real impact as Secretary of State. Her heart is in the rights of human beings and their inherent dignity. In 2000, the Human Trafficking Act was passed by the Bill Clinton administration, thanks to her efforts and Madeleine Albright's. She traveled in 1996 to Thailand and visited NGOs and AIDS hospices where 10 and 12-year-old girls were discarded from brothels and their own families who wouldn't take them back...I say Good Luck to you, Madam Secretary of State. There truly cannot be "national security" without ensuring that the human rights of girls and women in this world get the prominence and action they deserve.
