The film Heart of Darfur captures the desperation of daily life in remote villages, crowded refugee camps and in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur that is now home to 100,000 refugees and 10,000 U.N. personnel. Heart of Darfur takes a look at the people and places affected by what has been called “the world’s largest humanitarian crisis.”

In Italia non abbiamo più il privilegio di vedere documentari come questi! Grazie!
I agree with Yvonne, and I want to show this in my world issues high school classes. Is there a way of downloading the episode to a dvd?
I have seen this in my highschool.I would agree with Yvonne.
What’s happening in Darfur is deplorable and tragic. The innocent are subjected to such evil. Where is the church? Aaron Brown states, “Fear is part of the weapon.” 2 Timothy 1:7 states that God does not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and sound mind. We need to stand on guard for Darfur and lift the people up to God, speaking blessings over the nation and remember that nothing is impossible to God. He can bring healing and restoration to this nation if we get humble ourselves before the Lord and cry out for these people for restoration.
I enjoyed this, and unlike some other documentaries on the issue, this kept my attention and taught me somethings I wasn’t clear on. I’d like to show this at my college as well, can I get information on how to get the dvd and its cost?

Yvonne Chism-Peace Says:
This film needs to be shown in high schools and colleges across the country. This is real education. Our young people need to understand that history really happens to people. History is not a textbook.
