S.K. Mohapatra

S.K. Mohapatra is the Managing Director of the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd, a corporation created by the government of Gujarat exclusively for building the Sardar Sarovar dam and developing the command area. Mr. Mohapatra joined India’s topmost civil service, known as Indian Administrative Service (IAS), in 1976. A senior civil servant, he has held many important posts in the past, especially in the areas of industry and infrastructure such as Secretary of Industry to the Government of Gujarat, Chairman of Paradip Port, and Chief Executive of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board.
