Seventeen-year-old Josie de Souza is one of almost 23,000 students taking this year’s entrance exam for the University of Brasilia. She hopes to be one of those admitted under its new racial quota system.

    I’ve previously commented on the same subject on another thread…what comes to mind here is that, it is intended for Blacks to endure struggle due to the (lack of) value other put on their complexion. Black people go to school to be able to work to survive, while all other nationalities do that to live.
