Describe the history of Morocco and Western Sahara. When and why did the conflict begin? What were the major developments over the past thirty years? Who are the people involved? Use additional resources to develop an understanding of this conflict as needed.









3. Log on to the Web site http://www.womenwarpeace.org/. Select Western Sahara on the map. Read the information about Western Sahara.
  1. Describe how the conflict in Western Sahara has impacted women.
