A Grozny Home:
Zulfia Soltakhanova bathes her daughter amidst the ruins of her home. Most residents of Grozny, including those like Soltakhanova who live in the Leninsky district, do not have running water or electricity and often live in bombed-out, roofless houses. To obtain water, residents have to walk to a water pump which could be several miles away and must often carry the water several flights of steps up to their apartment.
