South Africans go to the polls on Wednesday to vote in the fourth national elections since apartheid ended in 1994. Wide Angle spoke with Azad Essa, political blogger for the South African newspaper The Mail and Guardian, about the significance of the upcoming elections.

Four opposition activists were found dead on Thursday, according to Zimbabwe's opposition party, Movement for Democratic Change.
