Like many African nations, Rwanda is a former colony struggling to become an economically and politically stable nation. Its recent past is marred by the 1994 genocide, and while its people work hard at rebuilding their lives and their futures, the road ahead is far from easy.

They are playing a remarkable role in politics and are also emerging as prominent figures in the business sector.
