The China-US Relationship will be an interesting one to follow. As the administration grapples with a monumental financial crisis, balooning trade deficit with China, and colossal debt, (of which $1.7 trillion is held by China), America’s leverage on China on issues such as currency manipulation, human rights, Tibet is bound to diminish. That said it is in both America’s and China’s interest to continue to cooperate in resolving the current crisis.
