World Links: Violent G20 Protests, US and Russia Pledge to Cut Nuclear Arsenals

Protests in Central London turn violent on the eve of the G20 summit, with demonstrators storming a branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Obama warns G20 leaders against giving in to fear, and says that an unprecedented agreement on financial regulation will be reached.

Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev, and President Obama pledge to agree to cuts in both countries’ nuclear arsenals by the end of this year.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is sworn in today and says that he will seek the council of outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

At least ten people are killed in an air raid in northwest Pakistan by a suspected U.S. drone.
