World Links: Sunni Leader Captured; ANC Victory; Police Officers Killed in Pakistan

Two suicide bombs kill at least 70 people in Iraq, and Iraqi officials say they have captured Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, one of the country’s most wanted al Qaeda leaders.

Two Pakistani police officers are killed in Taliban-infiltrated Buner, 60 miles from Islamabad.

Polls show the African National Congress party headed for victory in yesterday’s national elections in South Africa.

South African opposition party, the Democratic Alliance, declares victory in the Western Cape Province.
