GUIDE: Now the Swahili are actually the original people of the coast and basically here at Mombassa we have three groups of Swahili people. There is first of all the Swahili who are actually, who came about as a result of, you know, being born from an original Swahili family whereby the father and the mother are original Swahili people. And then we have the Swahili, or a Swahili who was born in a family whereby when the Arabs came to the coast of Mombasa, they intermarried with the Swahili people here.
