BIO: Rev. Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds


The Reverend Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds, president of Reynolds News Service, is an award-winning journalist, author and college professor. She was a founding editor and columnist for USA Today and has recently published her third book: No, I Won't Shut Up! 30 Years of Telling It Like It Is.

Dr. Reynolds hosts "Barbara's Beat," a Washington D.C. radio show and is a regular panelist on WHUT-TV's Evening Exchange program. She has appeared on Oprah, C-Span, and CNN.

An ordained minister, in 1997 she launched Harriet's Children, a program for female substance abusers headquartered at Greater Mt. Calvary Church in Washington. Dr. Reynolds teaches at the Calvary Bible Institute and is working on her fourth book, the memoirs of Coretta Scott King.
