TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS-hailing from Gainesville, Florida before officially forming in Los Angeles kicked the musical doldrums of the mid-70's in the face with their 1976 self-titled debut album. They followed up that album with YOU’RE GONNA GET IT and the triple-platinum album DAMN THE TORPEDOES. Their success has been mounting from there. Not many artists can match TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS' record of 26 years of commercial success along with an equal period of creative growth and critical acclaim.

TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS were inducted in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 18, 2002, their first year of eligibility. They have been the recipients of countless awards and recognition but most importantly they have continued to impress, entertain, and inspire their millions of fans for over 25 years.
