Your Life, Your Money features compelling, real-life stories of young people facing and overcoming intense economic challenges. This one-hour special will empower our youth with sound, simple financial advice - raising awareness on banking, credit, investments, budgeting, insurance, self-employment, and more.
Loaded with practical, engaging information, Your Life, Your Money has a full team of personal finance experts - including, best-selling author Beth Kobliner and syndicated columnist Michelle Singletary. The show also provides celebrity insights from hip-hop icon Russell Simmons and R&B pop singer D. Wood.
Beyond the program, Your Life, Your Money will host a number of national outreach events to improve money management skills for young adults. Teachers and parents can also find tools and resources to help create their own activities and lesson plans.
WNED-TV is a leading producer of single-topic documentary programming for national PBS broadcast. In recent years, it has produced programs on a variety of topics - including, The Marines, a 90-minute cultural view of the Marine Corps; The Adirondacks, a two-hour HD special on the largest park in the lower 48 states; Niagara Falls, an HD documentary on the breathtaking water feature; Windows to the Sea, an HD special about America's leading aquariums; and America's Houses of Worship, which explores the significance, grandeur, and magnificence of 13 of the most sacred spaces in the United States.

As a filmmaker, executive producer, and television executive, Tom has been responsible for some of the world's top-rated documentary programs. Prior to founding Working Dog, Tom served ten years as executive producer and vice-president of programming and production for National Geographic Specials on PBS and National Geographic Explorer on TBS.
