United States Army Presidential Salute Battery

The 3d United States Infantry’s Presidential Salute Battery is the only unit of its kind in the Army. The Battery fires cannon salutes in honor of the President of the United States, visiting foreign dignitaries, and official guests of the United States. The Battery also fires in support of memorial affairs for the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, and the United States Army in Arlington National Cemetery, and for ceremonies and special events throughout the National Capital Region.
