I was raised to believe…
I was raised to believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, and people of the same race. If you would have told me at 12 that I would be married to man, who is also Hispanic,I wouldn’t have believed you. Growing up I struggled to accept my own sexuality and gender identity. I was raised in a southern baptist conservative home. I knew as early as 4 that I was meant to be a man. By the time I was 14 I also knew I was bisexual. My coming out was never easy, and I still have struggles with my family. However, I have no doubt in my mind that I married the love of my life. (We met on Facebook dating of all places.)
