What gets me up in the morning is just that optimism to be alive, and have family and friends and animals, it's there. I don't know, I hope I never lose that excitement of being a kid. Every time I jump in the water I'm five, in the New River with an inner tube that came from a tire tied to me and my mom tied it to a tree and that's how I learned to swim. And you know, no matter where I am in the world, when I jump in the water that's my immediate memory. The smell, the feel. If you're lucky you find things that feed you and you go back to that childhood experience.
