I was raised to believe…
I was raised to believe that I am not worthy. I was raised to believe I didn't matter so it was okay that I was hurt. I was raised to believe that the only thing that matters is to please those who want, so you give it to them. I WAS NOT RAISED, I WAS A BURDEN. I was jealous of those who had authentic love and care. I was envious of those who knew where the next meal was coming from. I was manipulated and used. I learned to believe that I am worthy. I learned to believe that I am capable. I learned to believe that I am not a failure. I learned to believe that God has a greater purpose for me. I learned to believe that the struggle was a flaw in someone else's ability to be. I LEARNED THAT I, ALONE, AM ENOUGH.
