Family looks like the melting pot which is the foundation of America. My wife and I would have never met in grade school in Freeport, NY if my parents did not immigrate from India and her father from Jamaica. She comes from a multi-racial Jamaican Catholic background and I from a traditional hindu family. Together we have built a secular American family respectful of all cultural backgrounds and try our best to incorporate both of our family values into raising our 2 girls.
