I was raised to believe…
I was raised to believe to fight for what I believe. Because of the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921, Tulsa formed a magnet school to help desegregate the U.S. I met Lenny Singleton, a college-educated, star athlete who became an addict, at BTW, a magnet high school. 28 yrs later, I found him incarcerated in Virginia w/ 2 Life Sentences + 110 yrs for a series of robberies in which no one was hurt, robbing less than $550. I fought for 6 yrs, married him, wrote a book together, "Love Conquers All: How Love Delivered Her from Cancer & Him from Prison," & secured a pardon for him from Governor McAuliffe in 2018. Along the way, I was diagnosed w/ Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Today, I am free of cancer & he is a free man & we work with Attorney Coggeshall securing pardons for others.
