My Saturday night looks like the opposite of what the movies pertray. While the media shows teens to be out on the weekends partying or hanging out with friends, I spend my nights working at a local business in Savannah. As hard as it is to give up seeing my friends and resting after a long week of school, my job really helps me keep grounded and focused on the benefits it gives me. Becuase of my job I earn extra money which I am saving up for when I go off the college. It also gives me a point of view of students who work long hard hours not only of weekends but almost everyday after school. It may be hard, but in the end, the work is worth the lessons I have been taught.
