At this point in my life I ’m very grateful for the people who love me. I’ve always been very close to my incredibly supportive family and friends, Every one of them has been there for me throughout my cancer journey that began in 2006, Their concern, love and support allow me to remain strong and determined to not let cancer define me. With their help, I have been able to face each diagnosis head-on. As my first and most influential role model, I developed a strong sense of self by observing my mother during adverse times. She fought through illness and lived life as well as she could. She taught me to celebrate life’s blessings. The past 14 years haven’t been easy, physically or emotionally. Fortunately, I’ve drawn a lot of strength and courage from the people who love me. I am truly blessed.
