To me, work means the time and effort that is put into progress. In my life work means school. I guess I could refer to my job as another form of work that is present in my life, but I consider that to be more rewarding form of the word. I think that the term "work" can be defined in two ways. One being in reference to an actual occupation or job, and the other the description of something physically difficult. There is one thing that both of these definitions have in common: a result. I would define work as something that results in progression. As Americans, we must work to live. In our early years, we are work at school, so that we can graduate and work a real job. The definition of work slowly progresses from writing an essay and finishing a math sheet, to a nine to five workday at a job.
