My American story started when I almost failed high school. On the day of graduation I had a mortorcycle accident and was unconscious in the hospital for a few hours. After I recovered the hospital wanted to keep me overnight for observation but I insisted on leaving to attend graduation. Afterward I attended a local Electronics Technical school and graduated second in my class. It was like a light bulb went on or a screw fell into place. After working in electronics for two years I went 1A draft status during the Vietnam war era. I enlisted into the USAF. I went through basically the same curriculum and received a commanders accommodations. I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk England for NATO for over 3 years.
I got married before going overseas and had two children.
I began taking more and more classes.
