My greatest challenge is…
My greatest challenge is being an authentic Native American in a Western Colonial world and help that world understand what is to be Indigenous. As a modern-day genocide survivor of the 60s scoop. I believe being that bridge between the two worlds will create understanding and compassion. Living and walking the Red Road. Being a 2 x US Swimming National Champion and published author (Daily Medicine, Aster Press) I understand success in the Western world. As one who carries sacred Indigenous medicine to and for the people, I understand the Spiritual success of being hollowbone. (Indigenous term for being a conduit for the Spirit) Bringing those two worlds together is my life mission.
